LinkTec technology involves bonding the sheath and the core of the rope together during braiding. This reduces sheath slippage to a minimum and significantly prolongs the lifespan of a rope. Edelrid has been using this process for their gym ropes for a long time, as they have to withstand prolonged wear and abrasion during top-roping.
The Edelrid Tower 10.5 also features Thermo Shield treatment for perfect handling. This gives it the famous Edelrid suppleness and handling characteristics.
As with all Edelrid climbing ropes, the Tower is made in Germany. It is also certified by bluesign®, the world’s strictest standard for environmental protection, consumer protection and occupational safety.
